Stoughton High School Dance Team Coaching Staff
Head Coach: Sarah (Broske) Larson
Coach (Broske) Larson has been with the team since its establishment in 2011. She was born and raised in Stoughton, WI and has been dancing since the age of four. After studying dance at Stoughton Center for the Arts through high school, she attended University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was a member of the Panther Dance Team for two years. During Sarah's time on the PDT, the team finished in the top 10 at nationals each season in both the D1 Jazz and D1 Hip Hop categories.
Following her time at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she came back to the Madison area and graduated from Madison College with an Associates of Liberal Arts degree and then Edgewood College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. Coach Larson is currently working as a Project Manager in Madison, WI.
Assistant Coach: Lexi Schroedl
Coach Schroedl is excited to join Stoughton Dance Team for the 2019-2020 season. She was born and raised in McFarland, WI and has been dancing since the age of three. While she danced at various studios around the area in her younger years, she spent much of her studio career at Stoughton Center for the Arts, dancing there through high school. During her four years of high school, she danced for the McFarland Dance Team, acting as Captain for her Junior and Senior years. Following her high school years, she was selected to travel the country as a UDA Dance Instructor, but instead chose to begin her coaching career at at her high school alma mater where she continued coaching for eight years. During her time there, she led her team to eight back-to-back conference championships and to state in over 13 categories.
During her early years spent coaching at McFarland, she studied Marketing and Event Management. Coach Schroedl is currently working as the On Premise Manager for Red Bull North America throughout the state of Wisconsin.
